Christians Should Not Practice Meditation
Last week while joining a friend for a prearranged lunch date she passionately expressed concern about my work. “I’ve been getting your emails and when I see you, I’m not seeing the light in you, are you okay!?” Surprised, I responded “Really, can you explain what you believe you are or aren’t seeing?” Her: “I don’t see the Jannah that I know”.
"You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes
of mourning and clothed me with joy."

It’s hard to put into words the immeasurable impact that Jannah … has had in my life over the past few years, but just recently I had to face a situation in my marriage that was literally my worst fear come true, which was infidelity in marriage. Long before I was in a relationship I harbored a deep rooted fear of my partner being unfaithful to me. This was a well-curated fear.
After I got married, I did everything I thought possible within my power to make sure that it didn’t happen to me. I tried to function as if nothing happened. It wasn’t readily noticeable by the average observer but certainly something Jannah was able to identify, especially once my partner’s infidelity surfaced.
When I found out I was numb, I didn’t have the necessary tools to process the emotions. But by God’s grace when I connected with Jannah and her work she was able to help me navigate through this very dark time — not just for my marriage, but for me personally — so that I could find myself again and even, at a deeper degree, reconnect with the core of who I am, so that I could show up in truth and love and truly be present for myself first, which inevitably led to me showing up in a more present and powerful and meaningful way — not only in my marriage, but also in my personal and professional relationships, too!
